I ordered a 3’ x 4’ mat; however, the mat I received was 37” x 48.25”. This is fine for my application, but would have been annoying if I’d needed precisely 36” x 48”. It had a rubber smell when it arrived, but seemed fine after a few days on the patio. I placed it on a 1/2” thick plywood base for stability and to avoid any chance of it staining the carpet yellow over time. Works great for my needs.
