I rarely if ever buy an Amazon product that does not have two things: hundreds if not thousands of positive reviews, and 4.5 starts and above. This only had a 130ish reviews so took a gamble. Paid off! This is perfect. Very heavy duty, dense rubber that lays flat right out of the roll. No cupping. Has a nice grippy texture, and very durable. I’m using in my woodworking shop as a lay down mat on my outfeed table that I also use for assembly. I wanted something very dense and durable first, given casework and plywood impact, and not overly textured. This is perfect. It would also be a gym mat and great for heavy weights, but not as soft as my gym mats that have more cushion for body work and stretching. So, if you want something durable and flat, this is it.
