Since reading an article on the untouched nature of Utah's canyonlands, and Logan Canyon in particular, I've been dying to visit. I'm a history buff and enjoy reading about the farthest reaches of untouched wilderness in the world. Last Untouched Place: Logan Canyon is perfect for those who enjoy vivid photographs and lively descriptions of the romantic (and some not-so-romantic) history of Logan Canyon. I keep it on the table in the living room and enjoy browsing through it, or just looking at the pictures. I highly recommend this book!Living at the mouth of Logan Canyon, I've heard much about this book. One of the things I had heard was that it was more scientific that many would enjoy, but that the pictures were great. This is not the case; the stories and the history was written for everyone to enjoy. The pictures were beyond great.This is a must have for anyone that is familiar with Logan Canyon and I recommend it to all others too. A book I will treasure always, and a canyon I will never take for granted.I purchased this book as a Thank You gift to our friends in Switzerland that took time out of their schedules to show us some of their beautiful country. I wanted to show them a bit of where I live and this book is a perfect look into one of our beautiful canyons here in our valley.This is my home town and I love reading this book over and over. I love the history and new places found because of this book. If you live here BUY IT, if you are coming to visit, BUY IT! You will learn a ton.I have grown up going up into Logan canyon. I appreciated being able to learn more about the Logan Canyon Bear Lake Utah area.We loved this, especially because it is our stomping grounds! Book in great condition! Very reasonably priced.Wonderful photos and stories of the place where I grew up. Stories that to me were local folklore are brought to light.
