These pants are a good compromise of both.They fit just right he’s 43inches tallNice and durable pants for daycare. Took away a star because they were really long on my nephew who is in the 95th percentile for his height and weight (tall parents). Not sure what happened there, but he will at least have some pants to grow into instead of out of for once!These pants are super long and hips kind of big as well. My 15 month old is 2ft 7 and 23 lbs kind of sticky built. He’s been wearing 18 month clothes for a couple months now. These fit him truer to what a 24 mnth would. Luckily I can use some hem tape and the adjustable waist buttons and he can grow into them.Not sure if it’s supply chain issues, but we’ve ordered these pants before and the most recent pairs were much rougher cotton than previously (received in August 2021).It’s still 100% cotton and they fit well, but they feel rough (tag is dated 9/21 whereas other tags either don’t have a date or was 4/2020).Me encantó la tela! , es gruesa sin ser súper caliente y es súper suave al tacto, como si tocaras tela de pana pero más fina, la cintura ajustable la verdad que es una maravilla, el corte es ajustado pero con movilidad, no es super slim que queda pegado completamente, da margen de movimiento si sobre todo comodidad, súper recomendadosMe gusto mucho la calidad de la tela y el diseño del pantalón, a mi hijo le quedo un poco grande de la cintura, hay que pedir una talla menos.
