Product Description

Niederlande während des Zweiten Weltkriegs: Der Student Hans Poley ist auf der Flucht, denn er weigert sich, mit den Nazis zu kooperieren. Im Haus der Familie Ten Boom findet er Zuflucht. Beeindruckt von ihrer selbstlosen Nächstenliebe schließt er sich dem Widerstand an. Gemeinsam mit anderen Studenten gerät er in ein Katz-und-Maus-Spiel auf Leben und Tod: Entführungen durch die Gestapo, kühne Rettungsaktionen und überwältigende Wunder finden ihren Höhepunkt in einer gewagten Aktion, die alle das Leben kosten oder vielen Juden das Leben retten könnte ...„Dein Reich komme“ zeigt den heldenhaften Mut einer Gruppe studentischer Widerstandskämpfer, die Jesus Christus beim Wort nahmen und aus dem Glauben die Kraft zogen, ihr Leben für andere aufs Spiel zu setzen.Bonusmaterial:Originaltrailer; Trailershow; Bonus-PDF;

Fabulous story. If you've know the story of Corey Ten Boom & her family you will appreciate this video even more as it tells the story not told in the original "Hiding Place". It is suspenseful, exciting & full of emotion from beginning to end and amazing to see as the Hand of Providence takes control in situations, unforeseen.My only complaint has nothing whatsoever to do with the movie - but, with the way Amazon works it's sinister little operation.Do not fall for Amazon's claim that you can "buy" videos - you do not own them per se. You do not have the option of viewing them whenever you want, wherever you want, as they are not on your physical media unless you buy a special dispensation from some higher authority that I have yet to discover.No - your bought & paid for videos are out there - in the vast enigmatic ------out - there - somewhere! Cue up the Walt DIsney music if you will.So, I initially paid for a rental of this movie thinking I could view it with my family at some time over the next several days when our schedules coincided, only to find that the rental is streamed. Meaning - - - that's right! You need to be connected to the internet to watch it.Now, understand this - I live in an area - and there are still areas around - not many I grant you but, a few.This particular area is very remote - so remote in fact that we do not get cable TV, cell service - I love it, the kids hate it, oh, and no internet. So, when I download something I have to go to Dunkin Donuts and eat lots of donuts waiting for a dowload - not happening - or I do it at the local library - which given my residential remoteness really isn't so local.Now, given this particular problem, I figured that by "buying" the video from Amazing Amazon I would then "own" said video, have it downloaded on my laptop whereby I could then conjure the little bugger up at various times - of my choosing, discretion, convenience - pretty much giving me the feeling that I - - - - - - - that's right OWNED it. Not that I would reproduce, sell, distribute, or any of the other stuff that the FBI/INTERPOL/POLITBURO likes to interject for the first half-hour before movies. But, part of the enjoyment of owning/possessing/having something that you pay for under the guise of ownership is that you control it in such a way that you also control when/where/how you view it.This is not the case.Caveat emptor.
